It’s been a busy year. At the end of last year we were finally able to have face-to-face meetings with Clarion who agreed to support us in our struggle to save Dorset Hall. We were able to persuade the Architectural Heritage Trust to give us a grant and Oliver Brodrick-Ward of AHT came on board.
Tom True, a board member of DHG introduced us to the National Trust and in January 2022 Emily Gillespie came on board to work with us on an options appraisal to discuss both preservation and future of the building.

The building is now watertight and the options appraisal will be looking at sustainable uses for the building reflecting its past and protecting its future.
We are working closely with the National Trust, Clarion and Merton Council and will have a stall at Merton Heritage day on the 20th of August so that people can meet the team and talk with us.
